What are the symptoms of each health condition?

Depression

Normally we feel sad, or upset about many agendas in life. It becomes concerning when the feeling lasts for a week or month.

Physical symptoms and behavioural changes caused by depression include:

  • Reduction in energy, chronic fatigue frequently
  • Difficulty in focusing, decisions making or recalling
  • pain, aches or gastric problems without a clear cause
  • Sudden change in appetite or weight
  • Disbalance sleep cycle

Emotional symptoms of depression include:

  • loss of interest 
  • Continuously feeling of emptiness
  • Feel Hopeless
  • Agitation or restlessness
  • Feel guilty or helplessness
  • Suicidal thoughts and attempts

Anxiety

Anxiety or fear and worrying about minute things is a very serious concern. It is not feeling butterflies before a big event or important decision but, chronic anxiety can be dangerous and results in abnormal thoughts, fears in every situation that interfere in daily life activities.

Physical symptoms caused by anxiety disorder include:

  • Fatigued easily
  • Concentrating or recalling
  • Tension in muscles
  • Heart racing
  • Unsatisfying sleep

Emotional symptoms of anxiety include:

  • Restlessness or feeling on edge
  • Difficulty controlling worry or fear
  • Dread
  • Severe panic
